Gambling is full of weird superstitions. Some people won’t sit in a certain chair, others have lucky charms, and some refuse to play if a “cold dealer” is at the table. But do any of these actually work, or is it all in our heads? Some common gambling superstitions: Lucky numbers. Many players swear by 7 or avoid 13. Wearing red. In some cultures, wearing red is believed to bring luck. Blowing on dice. Thanks, Hollywood—people still do this in craps games. So, do you have any gambling rituals? Or do you think it’s all just psychological tricks? Let’s talk about the weirdest superstitions you’ve seen!

Most of these superstitions are psychological tricks. They don’t really affect the outcomes, which are usually determined by chance or odds set by the house. But they can impact how people feel or help boost confidence. The way casinos are designed—playing on emotions and rituals—just feeds into superstitions. One weird one I've seen is people "warming up" slot machines with their hands. It's all harmless fun, but what about you? Do you have any rituals you follow, or have you seen any really bizarre ones?
